We stopped in Fiji on our "Honeymoon" you might say. Discovered what it's like to swim in an aquarium. Snorkels thanks to Dan and Kate. We dined outside every evening. We found out that Fiji is blue skies all the time and that you can get into a cocanut by bashing it on rocks, it just takes a lot of time.
Bay of Islands

Imagine Sea Kayaking around the Lake District but in slightly larger lakes. That is what the BoIslands is like. Beautiful though and well worth the effort. We rented kit from Coastal Kayakers and cruised about the Islands for a couple of day. Kind of retracing Captain Cooks footsteps and taking in the history of the Waitangi Treaty. We also went to see some truly humungous kauri Trees which were a short drive away.
